Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Blog IQ ("the Service"), operated by Supercharge Me, uses cookies and similar storage technologies.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your login session. LocalStorage is a similar browser technology that stores data locally without sending it to the server on every request.
2. Our Approach
Blog IQ takes a minimal approach to cookies and browser storage. We do not use any third-party analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on blog-iq.com. The only cookies and storage we use are essential for the Service to function.
3. Cookies We Use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
blogagent_token |
Essential | JWT session token that keeps you signed in. Set as an httpOnly cookie so it cannot be accessed by JavaScript. | 7 days |
This is the only cookie Blog IQ sets. It is strictly necessary for authentication and cannot be disabled while using the Service.
4. LocalStorage Usage
We use your browser's LocalStorage to save lightweight preferences that improve your experience:
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
brand_id |
Remembers which brand you last selected so we can load the correct context when you return. |
sidebar_collapsed |
Stores your sidebar open/closed preference. |
theme |
Stores your display theme preference (if available). |
LocalStorage data stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
5. No Tracking Cookies
To be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics on blog-iq.com.
- We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.
- We do not participate in cross-site tracking.
- We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties.
6. Third-Party Cookies
When you sign in via Google OAuth, Google may set its own cookies during the authentication flow on Google's domain. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not ours.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, if you block the blogagent_token cookie, you will not be able to sign in to Blog IQ.
To clear LocalStorage for blog-iq.com, open your browser's developer tools, navigate to the Application or Storage tab, and clear the LocalStorage entries for the domain.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we add any new cookies or storage mechanisms, we will update this policy. We will not add tracking or advertising cookies without notifying you and providing an opt-out mechanism.
